Hi, I’m Lewis. I’ve been in the steel industry for 22+ years now, honing and expanding my specialist skills, and now offering my services to the wider steel community.
Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, I started out in fabrication, took on an apprenticeship (graduated top of my class, whoop whoop!), and then worked my way into the drawing office when the drawings that came into the workshop were too intelligible, and negligent of fabrication knowledge.
Ever since then I’ve had the pleasure and privilege to work with some of the best in the industry who are changing the landscape of builds around the world.
But let’s face it; the steel industry can be a tough bunch to work with too.
The struggle for profit margins are real and oftentimes there are issues between architects, engineers, fabricators, and designers that keep them from reaching their full potential in terms of productivity or revenue generation because they lack good design solutions and support. That’s where we come in!
We’ve been around long enough to know that great design and design solutions aren’t as simple as using design software. Having experience, understanding, and empathy to anticipate the extent of our clients needs from a fabrication perspective is what drives us to serve our clients best.
